TRANSPARENCY FIRST
The numbers behind the numbers.
A rate is only useful when you know what it measures, where it came from, and when it was recorded.
Current data status
The current dataset is an unverified reference dataset. Its source label is “Market Rate”, and its last recorded update is . No independently verifiable source URL or live feed is attached. Do not treat these figures as current market quotations.
Units & conversions
Gold is stored in rupees per 10 grams for each purity. Silver is stored in rupees per kilogram. Gold per gram is the stored rate divided by 10; silver per gram is the stored rate divided by 1,000. One tola uses 11.6638 grams and one troy ounce uses 31.1035 grams.
The tables exclude making charges and taxes. The calculator offers an optional 3% tax assumption for estimation; it is not tax advice or an invoice. Confirm applicable charges with the seller.
City estimates
City figures are calculated as national reference × (1 + adjustment ÷ 100), rounded to the nearest rupee in the stored unit. The fixed adjustments below are modelling inputs, not independently surveyed local premiums.
History & freshness
Charts show recorded observations, not a continuous live feed. A seven-record view may span more than seven calendar days. Historical 22K and 18K figures are derived from the 24K reference; they may differ from separately entered current quotes. Dates and update times are displayed in India Standard Time.
Corrections & accountability
When reporting a suspected error, include the page URL, date, purity, unit and the source you compared it with. Contact SonaPulse or read our editorial policy. A verified production source and update process must be established before these pages can claim live or independently sourced rates.
